Get up close to the brewing equipment and uncover the secrets of Belgian beer—before you know it, you’ll go from beer lover to beer expert.
After enjoying a taster, we’ll hop aboard our boat for the next part of the adventure!
For the 1 and 2 hour formula:
Arriving at the boat, you’ll be served right away with a super fresh beer. Your guide is as excited as you to start this beer, sun and water experience. 🌊 🌝
The beautiful view inspires lots of stories thanks to historic buildings such as the Graslei tax building or one of Ghent’s 300 medieval breweries. Let’s stop sailing for a second to introduce you to the legendary Belfry’s dragon. Maybe we even have a beer with us that is related to that! Over the course of the tour we’ll have the chance to discover more local legends since lots of buildings have their own beer related stories.
When we see the first empty glasses on our table, a new local beer with surprising flavours will be served. We promised a large selection of different tastes, and one is even paired with a local delicacy. Want to know more about that exclusive new beer that’s already become an international wonder, or rather about that re-discovered recipe from the Middle Ages?🏰 This is the right time to ask!
Oh boy, time does fly when having a good time! The clock is ticking as we need to start off with our 30-min beer game, so choose your team and prove that you are a true zythologist. Of course, we’ll be sipping some exclusive local beers in the meantime! After learning lots about Belgian beer culture over the 5 chapters of our challenging beer game, it’s time to wrap up.
Of course, we won’t say goodbye before we know which team got the award of the true zythologist. The winning team deserves an extra takeaway beer treat. 🎉
