What time should I arrive?

We ask you to arrive 5min before departure time that nobody needs to wait too long before drinking their first beer.

• Beer tour Bruges: We recommend taking public transport. From the train station, you’re only 15 minutes walking from the start location. If you go by car, please be aware to take enough time as finding parking spaces can be a big challenge.
• Beer tour Ghent: We recommend taking public transport. From the train station Gent Sint Pieters take tram 4 and get off at Korenmarkt. You’re only 2 minutes away from the start location. If you go by car, please be aware to take enough time as finding parking spaces can be a big challenge.
• Beer tour Brussels: We recommend taking public transport. From the train station, Brussels Central, you’re only 2 minutes walking distances from the start location. If you go by car, please be aware to take enough time as finding parking spaces can be a big challenge.
• Visite de brasseries de Gand: La brasserie est facilement accessible en voiture avec une place de parking payante. Le train est également une option. Prenez le train jusqu'à Gent Dampoort et faites une promenade de 1 km.
• Craft Brewery Brussels: We recommend taking public transport. From the train station, Brussels Central, you’re only 15 minutes walking distances from the start location. If you go by car, please be aware to take enough time as finding parking spaces can be a big challenge.
• Beer Cruise: We recommend taking the car as the place is located outside the city center.
• Beer boat in historical center: We recommend taking public transport. From the train station Gent Sint-Pieters take Tram 4 and exit at “Korenmarkt”. You cross the Korenmarkt towards Pizzahut, and there is Groentenmarkt.

Does BeerSecret offer other timeslots than those you can book online?

Yes we do! Our online available timeslots are decided in order to let our beer guides host two groups per day! 
You can’t make it at the proposed timeslot? 
In order to respond to your customised timeslot, an extra of €75 will be charged. 
Contact us via the request form of your favourite tour and share with us your favourite timing. We’ll take care of the follow-up!

Is it responsible to drink and drive after the tour?

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the cWe kindly advise people not to drive immediately after the tour, as you are going to drink 5 tastings ( 15cl x 5%-10%) in 2/3 hours which (depending of the person) can maybe exceed the maximum allowed legal drink drive limit. Providing a “BOB” (= local name for responsible driver) can be a good idea. It’s always possible to replace some beers for soft drinks if this BOB is joining  the tour.

Wheelchair friendly?

As we want to bring you to those unique beer spots, We do not offer a tour that is wheelchair friendly. Only with requested private tours, you can ask for this adaptation.

Someone of the group does not drink beer, can we also participate?

For sure, just tell us in advance how many people and we offer another non-alc. or alcoholic option. In this way, the person can still enjoy our beer stories.

Do you want us to bring the booking voucher?

Yes, for a fluent start of the tour, we ask everyone to bring their vouchers

What happens when BeerSecret is cancelling your tour ?

We know how inconvenient it is to change plans so we try to avoid cancellations. Only in the most extreme circumstances, we request a cancellation. A refund of 100% is guaranteed.

I am not able to pay online, are there other payment possibilities?

For sure, we can send you our bank details.

Can I also book last minute?

For private tours, your chance is quite risky for weekend days as our tours are quite successful, we advise everybody to make their payment in advance. For our shared tours, you can book until 3 hours prior to our tours, but be aware that our tours can be sold out as we only accept max 15 persons/tour.
