Just beer? No, we’ll do some local food pairing too. Your host, Liselot, will feed each tasting with some historical storytelling or local novelties.
1. The oldest beer style in Brussels: Start in the city center where you’ll try some exclusive Lambic beer –straight from the source. Lambic? Well, that’s Brussels’ oldest beer style. Find out how their yeast changes the taste of each batch!
2. Beer quiz: Off to the brewery: on your way, you’ll take a short beer quiz to test your beer knowledge.
3. Meet the brewers Upon your arrival, meet the founder, grab one of Brussels’ most exclusive beers & discuss the recipe. Brewer Maxim will guide us around in his 150m2 brewery, so don’t be shy and take the chance to ask your long-lasting beer questions!
4. Traditional brew.
Let’s make sure we end this tour in style, so no better place for the last tasting than the coolest bar in Brussels’ hip district. It’s the time to satisfy you with a traditional Trappist beer. And choose your last beer that matches the group! While sipping your beer, don’t forget to enjoy some local delicacies.
Oh and by the way, let’s find out who scored the highest during our quiz. Psst, the lucky winner gets an extra tasting!

First, we were introduced to the brewing process in an authentic bar where Liselot took time to explain us the whole process. I would have not appreciated a sour beer without her explication because the taste is like vinegar, haha. Apparently Lambic beer (so that sour beer) is a big thing in Belgium, and via her stories and background we all get engaged in that Lambic culture! Only thanks to her, I understand now why Lambic beer is actually not a lager, nor an ale. How interesting! After she took us to a brewery that is not accessible for individual visitors, and that made this visit even more precious!
Can't believe how much effort she is doing to give her clients the best experience!
A big thumbs up, and i'm sure you too will love the experience!
Congrats to Liselot !
It’s all a bit disorganized, as is the guide. There was also just another couple with us, so I ended up trying to order us all an Uber since we were all tourists and were not left where the tour started, but across town. We ended up taking a train back to where we started.
One tip if your customers are all out of town: end the tour where you began. It’s just better customer service.
